The approach I use is the Person-Centred approach. This approach is based around the idea that every human being has an ingrained tendency to strive towards growth and wholeness. Being a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that the answer to your struggles are within you. I am here to help you work towards that.
I am here to be a companion, to listen to you without judgements and to walk with you while you explore anything that can feel overwhelming and to help you find those answers, in a safe, confidential environment.
I am an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their Ethical Framework. I abide by the general data protection regulation (GDPR) and I work in line with the Information commissioners Office (ICO) Find more about my private policy here. I also comply with the children's act (1984)
I endeavour to provide a service that is anti-discriminatory in nature and strive to ensure this commitment is reflected in my counselling practice.
