My Approach
The approach I use is the Person-Centred approach. This approach is based around the idea that every human being has an ingrained tendency to strive towards growth and wholeness. Being a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert of your own life and that the answer to your struggles are within you. I am here to help you work towards a better understanding of yourself and the struggles within.

It can feel hard to reach out and talk those around you, maybe you don't want to worry them or you feel you would be a burden. Perhaps they try to understand but don't quite get it. This can make you feel really alone in it.

I am here to be a companion, to listen to you without judgement, to support you while you explore anything that can feel overwhelming and to help you find those answers, in a safe, confidential environment.

One of the most important factors that makes counselling work is the relationship between you and your counsellor. This is why I offer an introductory call where we can discuss what you would like to gain from the counselling, what to expect from the counselling sessions and to get a feel for me and whether we are the right fit to work together.
